The New AHL sound source (Acoustic & Highly-compressed Large-waveform) features all built-in tones, including piano and acoustic instrument tones, now sound better than ever before! 48-tone maximum polyphony provides plenty of margin to minimize the chance of notes being dropped when tones are layered and when playing with Auto Accompaniment. The Sampling function allows the user to sample a sound and then play it on the keyboard! You can create sound effects for a party or other events, or use sounds to compose music. Sample sound from an audio device plugged into the Audio In jack or from a microphone plugged into the microphone jack! The WK200’s touch response let's you add delicate nuances to notes by varying how much pressure you apply to keyboard’s keys. Need a challenge? Test your response with an exercise that is just like playing a game! Music Challenge tests your reaction speed by requiring you to press the keys indicated by the on-screen keyboard guide in time with the Auto Accompaniment tempo using the correct fingers indicated by the on-screen fingering guide. Step Up Lessons provides pieces that are divided into short, easy-to-master phrases making it easy for just about anyone to learn to play. After you master a phrase you advance to the next one. With this new lesson function, you keep building up your collection of mastered phrases and soon you are able to play the entire song. The Voice Fingering Guide senses if you are having problems, and will help you by calling out finger numbers in a simulated human voice. The WK200 contains a 152 Song Bank worth of tunes, including 50 Exercise phrases. This package comes bundles with professional closed-cup headphones, single x-braced keyboard stand, and a power supply.

This keyboard is well worth the money. Especially with the stand, power supply and headphones being included. It has 570 built in sounds. You can use the split keyboard option and the layer option with all of the sounds. The keyboard even comes with 2 song books with songs for people of all skill levels. All of the songs in the books are also loaded on the keyboard, so you can play along if you want.
I downloaded the data manager from the Casio website. It allows me to save the data onto a PC. I loaded it onto my netbook. I sampled some sounds from my virtual synths I use in Cakewalk Music Creator and some work better than others but it does allow you to add some cool synth sounds. The sampled sounds are erased if you unplug the power supply and you have no batteries in the keyboard. But I can take my notebook with me to upload the sampled sounds to the keyboard before a gig or rehearsal.
There are a lot of features and the manual could be a bit better. That's probably my biggest complaint. However, if you lose the manual, you can download the pdf file for it from the Casio site. Just go to the support section to find the data manager and manuals.
With 570 sounds, you know there are going to be some you may never intend to use. You have some great sounds and some cheasy sounds but that usually goes with every keyboard you buy. It's easy to find a case for the keyboard too. I also ordered that from Amazon. It's a good deal overall and I'd recommend it to anyone. Although, if you have a little extra money, you might want to move up to the WK-500. That model has an SD card slot to save your data on. That obviously simplifies matters for those who don't have a netbook, like I do, to carry around with the keyboard.
